Dr Debra Lawson / Dr Deb, of Crackenback Chiropractic and Colonic Clinic in Edge Hill, Cairns started her career as a Chiropractor in 1996.
Prior to graduating from Chiropractic College, she was a Massage Therapist and Colon Hydro-therapist since 1983.
Born, bred and educated in the USA, Dr. Deb offers a variety of treatments in addition to traditional chiropractic adjustments. These treatments include NMT/ neuromuscular therapy, Interferential therapy, Ultrasound therapy and the most recent addition: MLS Laser Therapy.
A typical visit with Dr Deb may include some muscle therapy along with your adjustment working with your muscles and soft tissues as well as your spine and pelvis.

Chiropractic Adjustment
Dr Deb uses a Zenith drop table to perform full spine adjustments. The low force drops makes the adjustment more comfortable.
NMT/ Neuromuscular Therapy
NMT Neuromuscular Therapy is a form of deep tissue work that targets Trigger points for the relief of pain. NMT originated in the USA with Paul St John and has a specific set of treatments for each muscle group.
Colonic Hydrotherapy
Colon hydrotherapy, aka colonics. Dr Deb prefers the open system colonic: this is where you have privacy and you are in control of your own treatment and so this is what is used at Crackenback Clinic.
